Privacy and analytics

Couch Crew uses Google Analytics on the public landing page and public event pages. Visitors in the EEA, United Kingdom, Switzerland, or with an unavailable location are asked to opt in before the tag loads. In other known countries analytics runs by default, and you can opt out here. A saved decline applies everywhere; a saved acceptance remains in effect if your detected country changes.

Analytics is used to understand broad spectator audience locations and visits to public pages. The page URL and referrer are sent without query strings or fragments. Event page titles and paths use the event ID. Rider names, rider IDs, and coordinates are not sent to Google Analytics.

When active, Google Analytics may store analytics cookies in your browser and Google receives the analytics request, including network information used to estimate coarse location. Google Signals and advertising personalization signals are disabled for this tag. See how Google uses information from sites and apps that use its services.

Analytics data is available to the Couch Crew site operator in the linked Google Analytics property. It is not used here for advertising or rider tracking.
